TUCSON, Ariz. — Senior guard Jessica Richter scored 33 points to help the Anteaters give the host Wildcats a scare in an exhibition game Monday night.

Junior Marissa Rivera had 10 points and 13 rebounds, and Lauren Gregory added 12 points for the Lions.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Senior De’Aunonte’ Johnson was 11 of 14 from the field on his way to a career-high 32 points as the Lions improved to 1-1 Saturday in the second game of the Las Vegas Classic at Del Sol High.

Johnson was four of six from three-point range and six of six from the foul line.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Arvydas Vaitiekus, a 6-foot-11 senior, led the Lions with eight points and eight rebounds in the season-opener Friday at the Las Vegas Classic at Del Sol High.

Sophomore point guard Greg Scott also had eight points for Vanguard, which shot 34% from the field and committed 25 turnovers.
