Bruins record 5-1 win

The Bruins scored the final three goals of their Adams Division match against the Maple Leafs and came away with a 5-1 victory at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Wayne Ponce scored three goals to lead the way as the Bruins led from start to finish.

Grant Durazzo and Cole Obenauer each scored once, and Brayden Utley had an assist.

Jackson Wozniak recorded eight saves.

Tristan Shults scored an unassisted goal in the first period for the Maple Leafs.

Dylan Palmer had 25 saves.

In other Adams Division action:

Sharks 5, Ducks 3

The Sharks overcame a one-goal deficit by outscoring the Ducks, 3-0, in the final period to get the win.

Jeremy Morgan scored the second of his two goals in the match at the outset of the third period, followed by consecutive goals by Miles Knight to close out the scoring.

In Mite Club Division action:

Kool Aid 10, Snickers 9

Snickers took a three-goal lead after one period but Kool Aid came up big on offense in the final two periods to pull out the win.

Kool Aid outscored the Snickers, 4-0, in the second period to take a 6-5 lead into the final period.

The teams were tied again 6-6 when Nathan Katzaroff scored early in the third period but a goal by Kyle Barrett off a double-feed from Joseph Loya and Cooper Haar, gave Kool Aid the lead for good at 7-6.

M and Ms 6, PB and J 5

The M and Ms led the entire way in downing PB and J.

Andrew De Carlo scored twice and Jordan Bonner, Blake Yokoyama, Austin Koss and Brett Rudy all scored once.

Koss and Rudy each also had two assists and Bonner had one assist.

Owen Osborne topped the PB and J offense with three goals. Ian Bast also scored.

Bailey Lowe and Charley Lowe each had an assist.
