Volunteers and activists called for an end to youth homelessness with a Cell Phone Illumination Night outside of a Newport Beach California Pizza Kitchen Tuesday night.

The event is part of an effort to draw attention to the more than 33,000 homeless youths in Orange County by Stand Up For Kids, a San Diego based organization dedicated to rescuing at-risk teens.
