Rock out with your work out for victims’ charities
You won’t need an iPod to enjoy music while jogging Saturday in Costa Mesa.
Vanguard University is having its annual Vanguard 5k charity run, this year dubbed the Rock-a-Thon.
Starting at 9:30 a.m., Vanguard University staff, faculty, friends and family will hit the ground running to raise money for charity.
Bands featuring with students from Vanguard students will perform. This year’s proceeds benefit victims of domestic abuse through the “Sin by Silence†documentary. Money will also go to Pathways to Independence, an organization that provides abused women in the community with support.
