Bilingual court center to provide info more quickly

A new call center expediting information gathering at courts is slated to open for public use at the Orange County Superior Court on Monday.

The center, which will have eight employees, will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

At first, the call center will offer information for the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana and the North Justice Center in Fullerton. Early next year, the center will include information from the West Justice Center in Westminster and the Harbor Justice Center courts in Newport Beach, Laguna Hills and Laguna Niguel.

The court system also provides some public information at www.occourts.org.

The call center will provide service in both English and Spanish.
