O.C. court is accepting applicants for Grand Jury

The Superior Court of Orange County is accepting applications for those willing to serve on the 2008-2009 Orange County Grand Jury.

The Grand Jury, which reviews and evaluates the work of government agencies in the district, is renewed every year. Jurors may also consider evidence for criminal indictments.

An application may be obtained by calling the Grand Jury Hotline, at (714) 834-6747, at www.ocgrandjury.org, or at the Jury Commissioner’s Office, 700 Civic Center Drive West, Santa Ana. Applicants must be 18 or older, a U.S. citizen, and have resided in Orange County for at least a year. A background check is also required.
