Ceramics club raises funds with 31st pottery sale

OCC students will get a taste of the artist’s life when they put their work up for sale Friday and Saturday on campus.

The pottery sale is being put on by OCC’s Mudslingers Club — a ceramics club.

This year marks the 31st annual pottery sale by the school’s ceramics students. The two-day event will focus on functional as well as decorative pottery with hundreds of items available for sale. All the artwork was created by roughly 25 intermediate to advanced ceramics students. The Mudslingers Club gets 15% of the proceeds with the artists themselves receiving the remaining income.

The sale will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday in OCC’s Art Center in Room 113. for more information call (714) 432-5843.
