Nonprofit gala sponsors Adopt-a-Family program

The season’s true meaning will be celebrated by Share Our Selves at its Family Festival Gala from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Costa Mesa Hilton.

The event helps close the 2nd Annual SOS Adopt-a-Family Festival of Trees event, which supports the organization’s long-running Adopt-a-Family program.

Local cheerleaders, children’s author Monique Rae, the Goode Time Carolers, the Mark Wood Entertainment group and Santa Claus will be in attendance as children and guests enjoy live entertainment and activities, including the opportunity to make a personalized tree ornament.

Share Our Selves encourages donations to the Adopt-a-Family program at the event, which serves a buffet-style dinner and announces winners of the previous night’s silent auction.
