CIF doubles final day postponed because of rain

The semifinals and finals of the CIF Southern Section Individuals girls’ tennis tournament were postponed Friday due to the rain.

Held at the Seal Beach Tennis Center, the event is now scheduled to conclude on Dec. 7 beginning at 10:30 a.m.

The Corona del Mar High doubles teams of Danielle Kaiden and Paige Polizois, as well as Hailey Hogan and Melissa Matsuoka, had advanced to the semifinals Thursday with a pair of wins.

Kaiden and Polizois ill play No. 1-seeded Brynn Boren and Kristina Smith of Dana Hills. No. 2-seeded sophomores Hogan and Matsuoka play Molly Aloia and Haley Dixon of Great Oak (Temecula).
