Sage Hill School sophomore Courtney Conlogue is featured with two other surfers in the latest issue of ESPN the Magazine.

Conlogue, along with Coco Ho and Carissa Moore, were named part of Generation NEXT.

Conlogue advanced to the women’s semifinals of the U.S. Open of Surfing in July. She lost her heat to the eventual winner and current world title holder, Stephanie Gilmore of Australia.

Selected by fans polled on ESPN.com, NEXT athletes are selected according to which ones are destined to make the biggest impact on sports in the future.

Joba Chamberlain was the top athlete, while Noel Devine (West Virginia tailback), Tyson Gay (sprinter), Brandon Roy (Portland Trailblazers) and Patrick Willis (San Francisco 49ers) were all frontrunners.

Conlogue, Ho, and Moore were not frontrunners, but were still featured, with six others, as NEXT athletes.
