Police search for men who robbed store at gunpoint

Costa Mesa Police are searching for two men who robbed a Westside musical equipment resale shop at gunpoint Monday morning.

The two men held up the Samara Musical store at 9:27 a.m. at 588 West 19th Street. The robbers ordered the clerk at gunpoint to lie on the floor before they raided the cash register, taking $1,400, police said.

The robbers were last seen driving off in a black Toyota sport utility vehicle, Sgt. Greg Scott said. The license plate was not identified, he added.

“No one was hurt and that is all the information we have right now,” Scott said.
