FULLERTON — Senior forward Joe Eberhard hit the go-ahead three-pointer with about 40 seconds left for CdM on Wednesday at the North Orange Country Championships at Troy.

Senior center Stefan Kaluz had 17 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots for the Sea Kings (5-2), who rallied from a six-point deficit in the final 90 seconds. Eberhard had five of his 10 points in that time span.

Senior guard Erik Rask had four points and five assists for CdM, which plays Los Alamitos in a ninth-place semifinal on Friday at 5 p.m. at Troy.

GARDEN GROVE — In a one-and-one situation, junior Troy McClanahan made both free throws with five seconds left in the second overtime Wednesday, lifting the Eagles to a consolation quarterfinals win at the Garden Grove Tournament at Pacifica High.

McClanahan finished with a game-high 30 points, including six three-pointers. Junior Ryan Knapp had 10 points for Estancia (2-3), also including a pair from downtown.

Senior Mark Allred scored nine for the Eagles, who play either Los Altos or Rancho Alamitos on Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the consolation semifinals, also at Pacifica.

IRVINE — Senior forward Kyle Caldwell led the Sailors with 16 points in their Irvine World News tournament pool play game Wednesday.

Senior guard Jamie Galey hit two three-pointers for Newport Harbor (5-2), which committed 24 turnovers.

The Sailors play either Cajon or Woodbridge in a fifth-place semifinal game of the tournament on Friday.

NEWPORT BEACH — Sailors senior Josh George recorded a pin, improving to 14-0 in the nonleague dual meet Wednesday at Newport Harbor High.

Also earning pins for Newport Harbor (8-2) were sophomore Grant McKee at 119 pounds, senior Edgar Guadarrama at 171s, senior Aaron Labrano at 215 and senior Cameron Rausch at heavyweight.
