Firefighters request more donations for toy drive

Toys are still needed for the Spark of Love toy drive going on in Orange County through December.

Firefighters are asking individuals to bring unwrapped toys or sports equipment to area fire departments to be donated to needy children.

Current totals reach 111,350, but the toy drive’s goal is 368,971 toys. Donations will be accepted until Christmas Eve at local fire stations and participating CVS drug stores.

Spark of Love is conducted by Orange County firefighters, but also works with Toys for Tots to pool collective resources.
