ORANGE COAST LEAGUE GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL TEAM
Dana Hutchinson, a senior outside hitter on the Laguna Beach High girls’ volleyball team, has been named the Most Valuable Player in the Orange Coast League for the 2007 season.
The Breakers dominated the selections by landing six other players on the 18-member all-league team, which is composed of a first- and second-team and is voted on by the league’s coaches.
Also gaining all-league honors for Laguna Beach were senior libero Paige Obradovich, junior setter Alex Palmer and junior outside hitter Piper Obradovich, each of whom made the first team.
Senior middle blocker Laurielle Hofer, sophomore middle blocker Paulette Grand Pre and sophomore setter Alex Rieckhoff made the second team.
