Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine has a fabulous prix fixe menu for New Year’s Eve and will be serving dinner from 5 to 11 p.m. The price is determined by the entrée you choose. Among the menu items that caught our eye are the Hawaiian-style Misoyaki butterfish “hand roll” for an appetizer; the rock shrimp and asparagus corn chowder for our soup; the bacon wrapped and “dynamite” baked ono for the main course; and for dessert, chocolate Kona coffee flan. Museum features music

The Countdown: New Year’s Eve at Orange County Museum of Art, is touted as the best New Year’s Eve gig in O.C. (for art enthusiasts, at least). This celebration comes with music, art, film and champagne. The evening features music and entertainment by Rocco Deluca & the Burden, the Growlers, Pawnshop Kings, and DJ Jesse C; an exhibit by legendary rock and roll poster artist John Van Hamersveld; and selected short films by the Malloys, creators of “Thicker Than Water,” “Shelter” and “Matt Costa.” Tickets cost $75. The Pelican Grill will host a first-rate New Year’s Eve celebration Monday. Enjoy a champagne ice bar, a multicourse gourmet feast, a live band and dancing.
