Newport-Mesa holiday closures and services

Newport Beach and Costa Mesa City Halls will be closed Tuesday, and Newport Beach’s will also be closed today.

The Newport Beach Board of Library Trustees Tuesday meeting is cancelled.

Street sweeping and trash collection in Newport Beach will not occur on New Year’s Day. Since the holiday falls on a weekday, collection will be pushed back one day for the remainder of the week. Parking restrictions for street sweeping hours will not be enforced New Year’s Day, according to the city’s website. Street sweeping scheduled for that time will resume the following week.

Costa Mesa has its Treecycle program running through Jan. 11. Residents should place only real trees out on the curb on their scheduled trash pickup day. Make sure trees are completely bare, removing all lights, garland, decorations and tinsel.
