Born 10-2-1918 in Lyons, Iowa , passed away 12-27-2007.Joan, as she preferred to be known, was a long term resident of Costa Mesa and a member of St.John the Baptist Catholic Church.She was a registered nurse and concluded her career at the health center at Orange Coast College. Preceded in death by her husband Don eleven years ago on the same date {12-27-1996} she is survived by her six daughters: Mary Carole Whitney, Newport Beach, Jeanne Bruneau of Riverside,Barbara Donahey ,Seattle Washington,Marcia Sharabi, Garden Grove, Kathleen Willoughby, Lake Forest and Patricia Donahey-Tait, of Rancho Santa Margarita. She had 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Joan was a bright,cheerful and involved person who will be missed by all who knew her. Their love story is now complete.
