Wonder, a 5-month-old tabby kitten, hopes to start 2008 fresh with better health and a new home.

Wonder has been receiving donations, and with the help of the Community Animal Network, will receive eyelid reconstructive surgery Friday at the Eye Care for Animals in Tustin. Though his vision will be saved, Wonder still seeks a home and is up for adoption.

The Community Animal Network is also still seeking donations for Wonder’s surgery, as they are $700 short of the price tag.

Community Animal Network has pet adoptions every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. outside Russo’s Pet Experience in Fashion Island. To volunteer your time, call (949) 533-0411.
