Wildcats 39, Bears 35:

The Wildcats improved to 2-2 on the season with a big 39-35 win over the Bears. The Cats led throughout, but a furious comeback by the Bears kept the game close until the final buzzer. The Cats were led by the strong inside play of Cameron Hook and Henry Dodge. The Bears comeback was led by the hustle of Reese Stalder, Parker Chase and Clay Woodward, as well as the timely shooting of Kyle Mohan and Alex Wilde, who hit an NBA-length three-pointer to bring the Bears to within three.

Warriors 42, Tigers 28: The Warriors remained undefeated with a win over the Tigers. It was a breakout game for Will Van Dalsem, who scored 10 points and had several key rebounds. Cole Norris chipped in 12 points, while Matt Hurst ran the offense with precision. Preston Dexter, Milad Rohani, TK McWhertor and Jason Knapp played tough defense throughout the game. The Tigers were led by Sam Younesi’s 13 points and the strong play of Kevin Manchester.

Bruins 36, Red Storm 33: The Bruins improved to 3-1 with a hard-fought, double-overtime victory over the Storm. In a great team effort, the Bruins were led by Hagen Truninger and Robbie Bracho, who each had 10 points. Parker Reposa made the deciding basket on a put-back with eight seconds left and Sam Bush provided some key baskets in the final period. The Red Storm were led by Max Kline with eight points, Logan Crider with four steals and Grant Morris, who hit a key basket to send the game into overtime.

Zips 45, Spartans 36: The Zips remained undefeated. Nolan McCarthy and Joey Faris led the Zips with both scoring and great defense, while Clint Henderson provided some key baskets off the dribble. Joey Cooper spent a good portion of the game on the foul line after continually driving through the teeth of the defense, while Connor Sage hit a big three-pointer in the second half. The Spartans were led by the strong play of Wyatt Walton, Jack Binford, Matt Deverian, Peter Seidner, Jack Benzinger and Sean Cox.

Trojans 36, Runnin’ Rebels 26: The Trojans improved to 3-1. Armen Shrikian and Grant Nutt controlled the boards, while Michael Karamardian, Kavi Sakraney, Ryan Stone and Ben Rowland all played well in the win. The Rebels fought hard and kept the game close until the final period and were led by the gritty play of Brady Shockey, Kaveh Anderson, Quinn Bassler, Gavin Allen and Trevor Schwartz.
