GOODMAN

With a personality befitting his name, Goodman is a 3-year-old apricot tabby who needs a new home after his family moved to an apartment that doesn’t allow pets. Goodman is now up for adoption from the Community Animal Network.

The network would like to remind people that adult cats need adopting, too.

“With the proper guidance, you can introduce your current feline to a new, adult cat and everyone can live harmoniously,” said DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, founder of the Community Animal Network.

The network is still asking for donations for Wonder the tabby kitten who had eyelid reconstructive surgery Friday. The network is making payments for the operation and is still hoping to raise $630 more to pay for the surgery.

Community Animal Network has pet adoptions every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. outside Russo’s Pet Experience in Fashion Island. To volunteer your time, call (949) 533-0411. Elementary school-aged children can sign up to be a volunteer for the Community Animal Network and help at the Fashion Island pet adoptions. A community service volunteer orientation will be from 4:45 to 6 p.m. Saturday.
