Newport tourism bureau appoints new sales managers

The Newport Beach Conference and Visitors Bureau has appointed Bette Haddock and Jeannette Moerbe as national sales managers, bureau President Gary Sherwin announced last week.

Haddock, who has worked in the hotel industry for more than 20 years, most recently served as associate director of sales and marketing for the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach. She also previously worked as associate director of sales for the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. Moerbe most recently managed corporate sales for California and the East Coast at the Hyatt Valencia.

“The addition of Bette Haddock and Jeannette Moerbe to our CVB sales team will really aid us in bringing more corporate business to our Newport Beach hotel portfolio, which is the best it has ever been with recent multimillion-dollar renovations and the newest addition of the Resort at Pelican Hill later this year,” Sherwin said in a release.
