Offering children a musical lesson on global warming and how to conserve energy, South Coast Repertory’s Educational Touring Production will travel to local elementary schools through May 3 with its production of “You’re Getting Warmer.”

A free public performance of the play will be shown at 5 p.m. Jan. 28 on the Julianne Argyros Stage, 655 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa.

It’s the dead of winter, and cell phones, computers and the air conditioner are running up the electric bill at Alex’s house in this story about how global warming is affecting climate and temperatures around the world.
