Newport Beach Jazz Festival brings nightly performances

Three days and four nights of “Right Down the Middle and Straight Ahead” jazz is on tap for music lovers as the eighth annual Newport Beach Jazz Festival arrives for a Presidents’ Weekend celebration nightly at 7 p.m. Feb. 14-17 at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel and Spa, 900 Newport Center Drive.

Concerts will conclude with an informal, “up close and personal” acoustic session each night, followed by late “nightcap sessions” at Sam and Harry’s restaurant. Weekend festivities also include jazz brunches and poolside jazz performances.

Weekend packages starting at $325 are available; tickets may be purchased for individual events and the hotel is offering special room rates.
