Rib Company offers 20% of sales to scholarship

The public is invited to help aspiring community leaders pay their way through school by dining at Newport Rib Company Monday, where 20% of the bill will be donated to Costa Mesa Councilwoman Katrina Foley’s “Twelfth Grade Citizenship Scholarship Award.”

From 4 to 9:30 p.m., 20% of a dine-in bill goes to the scholarship fund. From 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., any take-out orders also contribute. Just mention the scholarship fund.

Applicants for the scholarship have to demonstrate a mind for community responsibility. All projects must be submitted between Feb. 14 and March 10.
