Jaguars rout Mad Dogs

The Jaguars scored three goals in each of the first two periods of their Campbell Division matchup against the Mad Dogs and went from that 6-0 lead to a 6-1 victory at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Three goals by Kameron Christi and one apiece by Robert Hasen, Trent Berkenkamp and Leon Sandeberg allowed the Jaguars to take a 6-0 lead.

The Mad Dogs posted their lone goal in the third period, a score by Wyatt Benson.

Sandeberg and Ben Welinder each had an assist and Justin Pichedwatana recorded 24 saves for the Jaguars.

Dylan Reightley had 23 saves for the Mad Dogs.

In other Campbell Division action

Hot Shots 5, Rangers 2

Ryan Armstrong and Jordon Corwin each scored two goals as the Hot Shots beat the Rangers.

Corwin also had two assists and AJ Gatto also scored. Dylan Palmer had 25 saves.

Shane Geller scored twice and Shane Sandoval once for the Rangers. Steven Grubbs had 18 saves.

Aliens 4, Conspiracy 4

Kyle Barrett scored the final two goals for the Aliens, the last of which came with 4:13 to play and lifted his team into a tie score with Conspiracy.

Kyle Hinojosa had a goal and assist, Dylan Hadfield scored once and Levi Pompoco had 18 saves for the Aliens.

Jake Arnold scored twice to lead Conspiracy. Trevor Arsenault and Carson Dorain also scored, David Cortez had two assists and Drew Truxaw finished with 15 saves.

Lightning 2, Lightning Blades 2

For every one-goal lead the Lightning Blades took, the Lightning countered with a tying goal, the final one coming on a successful shot by Cassie Moan with 7:46 left in the final period.

Andrew McConnell also scored for the Lightning, Gabriel Reyes and Savannah Gutierrez each had an assist and Maverick Knight had 17 saves. Rocky Rosas and Jake Coon scored for the Lightning Blades and Joseph Loya recorded 26 saves.

In Adams Division action

Maple Leafs 2, Ducks 0

Two goals by Wayne Ponce and a defense that played shutout hockey led the Maple Leafs past the Ducks.

The shutout came via 12 saves by Jackson Wozniak.

Ponce scored single goals in both the second and third periods.

Geoffrey Campbell had 11 saves for the Ducks.

Blackhawks 4, Sharks 2

The Blackhawks outscored the Sharks 2-0 over the final two periods to claim the victory.

Brandon Washiashi scored the first three goals for the Blackhawks and Joe Nickerson scored the fourth.

Evan Bouma had an assist and Natalie Trujillo recorded 20 saves.

Tristan Shults and Chase Radi scored for the Sharks. Anuja Sinha had an assist and Matthew Acebedo had 21 saves.

Kings 3, Penguins 1

Goals by Ryan Bevington and Alexander Hessing in the third period broke a tie and lifted the Kings past the Penguins.

Brayden Utley also scored for the Kings and Shane Sandoval had eight saves.

Miles Knight scored for the Penguins and Matthew Gomez had 16 saves.
