Allan Taylor Stover

Allan Taylor Stover died peacefully in the early hours of Sunday, February 10, 2008. A native of Claremont, Al received his BA from Dartmouth College & his MS in Civil Engineering from UC Berkeley. He worked for many years as a civil engineer for Coxco, Inc. in Orange, & also helped ranch oranges for the National Orange Company in Riverside. Al married in 1961 & moved to Corona del Mar, where he taught his daughters to play bridge, love the surf, vote, & value the joy of laughter. He was a member of Kiwanis, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Hutchins Consort Board of Directors, & Saint Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church. Allan is survived by his wife, two daughters, & many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews & friends who will miss his passionate opinions & loving smile. Services will be held at 1PM on Saturday, February 23 at Saint Michael & All Angles, 3233 Pacific View Drive, Corona del Mar.
