Costa Mesa event brings together Jews of all ages

More than 600 Southern California Jews will come together in Costa Mesa this weekend, celebrating their traditions and taking part in workshops about their faith.

Limmud L.A., a volunteer-led initiative, will join the United Kingdom, and New York, and other cities in providing a venue for such expression.

While the London flagship event is 20 years old, this will be the first such event in the Southland.

“It’s basically getting Jews of all ages together to plan something for the Jewish community,” Executive Director Ruthie Rotenberg said.

The sold-out event will be at the Orange County Hilton in Costa Mesa. Program information is available at www.limmudla.org.
