TUESDAY

Cliff Drive: Two people were advised not to have sex in the bathrooms in the park at 12:06 p.m. in the 400 block.

Coast Highway: A purse was reported taken and the window was smashed on a vehicle at 5:46 p.m., resulting in a loss of $2,700, in a beach parking lot in the 30800 block.

Monterey Drive: A power outage preceded by a loud boom was reported at 9:43 a.m., and residents were told the power would be out until midnight due to a construction crew cutting power lines at Cypress Drive.

North Coast Highway: A briefcase with checks totaling $1,200 and $200 in cash was reported stolen at 4:53 p.m. from a vehicle after the window was smashed in the parking lot of a shopping center in the 600 block.

North Coast Highway: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of fighting in public at 3:16 p.m. in the 200 block.

North Encino Road: A handicapped placard was reported stolen from a vehicle at 2:36 p.m. in the first block.

Ocean Avenue: A person flagged down police to complain that a store display was too sexually graphic at 2:58 p.m. in the 200 block.

South Coast Highway: A Costa Mesa woman was issued a citation for trespassing at 10:51 p.m. at a market in the 700 block.

MONDAY

Cliff Drive: Graffiti was reported at 9:28 a.m. on railing and rocks at Monument Point in the 400 block.

Hawthorne Road: A $600 catalytic converter and exhaust system were reported stolen from a Toyota truck at 7:04 a.m. while it was parked in the 400 block.

Jewel Avenue: A catalytic converter was reported stolen at 2:39 p.m. from a 1995 Toyota parked in front of a residence in the 31000 block.

North Coast Highway: A car was reported fully engulfed in flames at 12:23 p.m. at El Moro Ridge.

Park Avenue: A bicycle lock was reported broken and bicycle wheel damaged at 8:25 a.m. in the 600 block.

SUNDAY

Balboa Avenue: One man was issued a citation for drug possession after police responded to a report that four men were pushing and shoving each other at 7:25 p.m. in a park in the 29000 block.

Brooks Street: A Laguna Niguel man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public at 2:02 a.m. at South Coast Highway.

Cliff Drive: A Costa Mesa man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 3:10 p.m. in the 400 block.

Forest Avenue: A 40-foot long one-foot thick eucalyptus branch fell on two vehicles causing light- to-moderate damage at 11:11 a.m. in the 500 block.

Gainsborough Drive: A house was reported egged at 9:19 a.m. in the 700 block.

North Coast Highway: A man who fell on the side of the road and could not get up was taken to the hospital at 6:19 p.m. at Boat Canyon Drive.

Rock Ledge Road: A sea lion was reported on the sand since morning at 5:34 p.m. and by the next day had left the location in the first block.

South Coast Highway: A jacket worth $29.99 was reported stolen at 8:50 p.m. from a liquor store in the 1300 block.

Broadway: A broken window was reported at 10:28 p.m. at a business in the 500 block.

Coast Highway: Two men were suspected of poaching scallops at 4:55 p.m. at Treasure Island Park in the 30000 block.

Moss Street: A San Juan Capistrano man was arrested at 2:22 a.m. on suspicion of DUI and driving without a license at South Coast Highway.

North Coast Highway: A North Dakota man was issued a citation for drug possession at 1:30 p.m. in the 300 block.

Ocean Avenue: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public at 11:57 p.m. in the 200 block.

South Coast Highway: A Laguna Niguel man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:42 a.m. in the 400 block.

Thalia Street: A Laguna Niguel resident was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 10:40 p.m. in the 200 block.

FRIDAY

Linden Street: Items totaling $97 were reported stolen at 2:36 p.m. from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block.

North Coast Highway: A Long Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at 11:38 p.m. in the 1300 block.

THURSDAY

Coast Highway: A Dana Point man was cited on suspicion of drug possession at 4:13 p.m. after a traffic accident at Third Avenue.

Glenneyre Street: More than $100,000 was reported stolen from an account over the past year at a bank in the 800 block.

Lagunita Drive: A person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a rollover traffic accident at 4:52 p.m. in the first block.

Montage Resort Drive: Three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries at 7:58 p.m. after a three-vehicle collision at Coast Highway.

Montage Resort Drive: A Trabuco Canyon woman was arrested at 7:50 p.m. on suspicion of felony DUI with great bodily injury after a traffic collision at Coast Highway.

Treetop Lane: A clarinet was reported stolen at 3:06 p.m. at a school in the 21000 block.

Coast Highway: An injured person was taken to the hospital at 10:01 a.m. after a traffic collision at 9th Avenue.

Coast Highway: A Los Angeles woman was issued a citation for drug possession at 10:11 a.m. in the 30000 block.

Coast Highway: An Irvine man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Irvine Cove Drive.

Laguna Canyon Road: Construction equipment totaling $8,000 was reported stolen at 3:02 p.m. in the 2600 block.

North Coast Highway: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after reportedly bothering customers at 6:04 a.m. in the 100 block.
