TUESDAY

Broadway: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 10:26 p.m. in the 300 block.

Brooks Street: $11,000 in coins were reported stolen at 9:36 a.m. from a residence in the 600 block.

Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after his vehicle allegedly hit two to three parked cars at 7:21 p.m. at Fourth Avenue.

Montage Resort Drive: A Costa Mesa man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 11:39 p.m. after a traffic stop at Coast Highway.

North Coast Highway: A woman who was reported at 8:41 p.m. to have been trapped in an elevator since 10 a.m. was released at 9:16 p.m. at a market in the 600 block.

Oak Street: Lifeguards removed lobster traps that were near the surf line at 11:30 a.m. in the ocean.

South Coast Highway: A purse was reported stolen on Jan. 12 at 4:36 p.m. from a hotel in the 600 block.

MONDAY

Broadway: A New York man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 1:50 p.m. after complaints that he was yelling profanities at the bus stop in the 300 block.

Park Avenue: A juvenile was accused of stealing at least $500 at a school in the 2000 block.

San Joaquin Street: A San Clemente man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 1:47 a.m. after a traffic stop in the 200 block.

South Coast Highway: $40 cash and credit cards were reported stolen from a vehicle at 9:09 a.m. in the 1500 block.

South Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after refusing to leave a business at 4:38 p.m. in the 100 block.

SUNDAY

Cliff Drive: Police released a dog from a vehicle after the temperature inside rose to more than 90 degrees at 2:07 p.m. in the 300 block.

Coast Highway: A Laguna Hills man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and marijuana possession at 12:58 a.m. in the 30800 block.

Coast Highway: A swimmer was reported caught in heavy surf but escaped at 4:26 p.m. in the 31100 block of Aliso Beach.

Coast Highway: Three fishermen were told by lifeguards to get off rocks due to high waves at noon in the 30800 block.

La Senda Drive: A sea lion was reported beached at 1:37 p.m. in the 100 block.

Park Avenue: A key was reported taken from a gym bag and used to unlock a vehicle from which a wallet was stolen, resulting in a $275 loss at 12:32 p.m. at a school in the 600 block.

South Coast Highway: An Aliso Viejo woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 12:56 a.m. in the 300 block.

South Coast Highway: Five men and a woman were reportedly throwing shopping carts in the street at 1:32 a.m. in the 700 block.

SATURDAY

Coast Highway: A Dana Point man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at 10:08 p.m. at Crown Valley Parkway.

Coast Highway: Police were called when a 39-year-old Dana Point man walked out of a hospital with an IV still inserted at 11:51 p.m. in the 31800 block.

Dartmoor Street: A vehicle was reported keyed and the window broken the night before at 4:17 p.m. in the 300 block.

Hillcrest Drive: A mailbox was reported stolen at 2:27 p.m. in the 1400 block.

North city limits: Police responded to a report of a despondent man attempting to jump off a cliff at 11:28 p.m.

Sleepy Hollow: A teenage boy was accused of throwing eggs at people on the beach at 11:27 a.m. in the 600 block.

St. Ann’s Drive: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:21 a.m. after a traffic stop at Park Avenue.

FRIDAY

Cedar Way: A Laguna Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia at 8:51 a.m. in the 100 block.

Cliff Drive: A Costa Mesa man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after being observed wobbling on the sidewalk at 4:49 p.m. in the 300 block.

Goff Street: A Gucci purse worth $700 was reported stolen from a vehicle at 2:30 p.m. in the 500 block.

Ocean Avenue: Two men were reported fighting with a homeless man at 5:09 p.m. in the 200 block.

South Coast Highway: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of petty theft at 3:21 p.m. in the 900 block.

South Coast Highway: Two men and two women were reported fighting at 6:14 p.m. in the 600 block.

South Coast Highway: A former employee was accused of stealing $400 from a restaurant at 10:09 p.m. in the 600 block.

THURSDAY

Coast Highway: A power saw was reported stolen from outside of a garage at 11:14 a.m. in the 32000 block.

Forest Avenue: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 1:12 a.m. after a traffic stop in the 500 block.

North Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on a DUI warrant after police responded to a hotel room where another man had alleged that he was slammed into a door by a hotel manager at 6:45 p.m. in the 900 block.

South Coast Highway: A light bulb in an alley was reported to be burning at 11:03 p.m. after someone put paper around it in the 100 block.

WEDNESDAY

El Camino del Mar Drive: Boys at a sleepover were reported to be eating as much nutmeg as they could when one boy passed out at 8:26 a.m.

Forest Avenue: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:17 p.m. after a traffic accident at Broadway.

Ocean Avenue: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 3:07 p.m. in the 200 block.

Ocean Front: A Newport Beach man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 3:33 p.m. in the 700 block.

Ocean Way: A dead seal was reported at 7:40 a.m. in the 1700 block of Bluebird Beach.

South Coast Highway: A $10,000 painting was reported stolen at 9:07 a.m. from a cart while the artist was sleeping in the 100 block.

Thalia Street: A Dana Point man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at 1:27 a.m. in the 300 block.

Viejo Street: A fire in a bathroom was reported at 11:30 p.m. and knocked down by firefighters 15 minutes later in the 200 block.
