‘WILD CHILDS’ WIN TITLE

The AYSO Region 57 Silver girls’ under 10 team recently won the all-star title, defeating a team from Tustin, 1-0, in the championship game.

Jasie Dunk’s assist to a wide-open Lilly Schoenbaum was the only goal of the game. Amanda Buhl, Bridget Sweeney, Allie Freyman, Taylor Montrenes, Sahar Rohani, Man Parsi, Gabrielle Stassart and Mana Parsi led the outstanding defense.

Dunk provided most of the scoring during the season and excellent goal-keeping from Madeline Van Otten and Schoenbaum secured several victories.

The “Wild Childs” lost only one game in the 10-game season, and allowed just five goals.
