Easter hops into town

In celebration of the coming of spring, the Easter Bunny has hopped down to South Coast Plaza for a month stay.

Children can take pictures with the Easter Bunny starting at 11 a.m. until March 22 at the Carousel Court or Macy’s Home Store Wing, Level 1 at South Coast Plaza.

Presented by Disney puppeteers, children are also welcomed to talk to the Easter Bunny.

“It’s Easter and I wanted to get her into the spirit, take a picture with the bunny,” said Jackie Le of her 19-month-old daughter Kylie. “She was kind of scared, a little bit.”

Both the Macy’s center and Carousel Court have set up beautiful arrangements to house the Easter Bunny’s arrival.

Macy’s created a spring garden with hydrangeas, lilies, tulips and hanging begonias for a less-talkative Easter Bunny.

For the talking bunny, visit the white gazebo at Carousel Court.

There is an activities table set up for children to color and hang out with their parents before and after visiting the Easter Bunny.

Picture prices range from $6 to $45 packages.

The carousel at the court is also celebrating the spring season with special bunny and floral carriages for children to ride on.

The unique carousel lasts until March 31.
