Shoe extravaganza, fashion show slated for Macy’s

The Macy’s store at South Coast Plaza plans to host a designer shoe event and runway show Thursday evening, with wine, hors d’oeuvres and a gift package for customers.

The event is scheduled to last from 7 to 9 p.m. on the store’s main floor.

Among the designers to be featured are Betsey Johnson, Calvin Klein, Cole Haan, Stuart Weitzman and others.

Guests who make a purchase of $250 or more will receive a $50 Macy’s gift card and a tote bag filled with vendor goods.

The store also requests a $10 donation for the Beckstrand Cancer Foundation, a Newport Beach-based nonprofit that benefits cancer patients and their families.
