Ybanez, Richard P. 3/23/43-12/12/07 So. Cal. native and resident of HB for 35yrs prior to moving to Brea, CA,
left to be with our Lord as a result of brain surgery complications. He was a General Contractor and self-made man, who
also held a black belt in martial arts. He initially learned the trade from his sister’s husband, Otto Roehl. In his early years
he worked on housing tracts all over HB, OC, and Az. When he wasn’t working, he was off-road racing in the desert, AZ,
or Baja, sand railing in the Dunes, boating on the River, or in later years, RV’ing thru the National Parks, rock crawling,
or attending street rod shows. He was a fun-loving charismatic man who always made time to help his family and friends.
He is extremely dearly missed. He leaves his devoted wife Sally, loving daughters Andrea Bisson and Cathy
Burton, son James Temple, granddaughters Judy Bisson and Lela Burton, his dear brother Louis, and dear sister Nina
Roehl. He lived his motto “Work Hard, Play Hard”, and believed faster & bigger was better. Forever in our loving memories.
