Church to pray for peace at vigil for the Iraq War
Fairview Community Church will host a candlelight vigil Wednesday in observance of the fifth anniversary of the beginning of the Iraq War.
The church began meeting in February every Wednesday during Lent to pray for peace and to light candles. The vigils will culminate 6:30 p.m. Wednesday with a gathering to pray for the end of the war in Iraq. The church is at Fair Drive and Fairview Road in Costa Mesa.
