Palestinian situation topic of program

JOY (Justice Outreach and You) Ministry of Neighborhood Congregational Church announces the return of Fairly Frequent Friday Films.

At 7 p.m. April 4 Wafa Shami, coordinator of the Middle East Peace Program of the American Friends Service Committee (Quaker), will give a presentation on Palestinian culture and the current political realities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, where Palestinian farmers face the loss of access to their land and the uprooting of their olive trees due to the occupation and the separation wall. There will also be a special feature on the particular problems of walled-in Bethlehem.
