Alice Mollie Day Griffith

Alice passed away peacefully March 30,2008. She was born April 5, 1927 in Los Angeles, California. Alice grew up in Beverly Hills and attended Marlboro and UCLA, where she made many lasting friendships with her sorority sisters at Kappa Alpha Theta.

She married Robert S. Griffith in 1949 and moved to Rolling Hills, Calif. where she raised her three children. Alice was involved in many philanthropies and was an active tennis player her whole life. She and Robert moved to Irvine, Calif. in 1975, where she lived until she passed on.

Alice is survived by her three children, Gail Mason and her husband Doug and their two children Travis and Molly and Gail’s granddaughter Sierra Mason. Also by her son Bob Griffith and his wife Sally and three Daughters Kristen, Sarah and Whitney and Also her son Chris Griffith and his wife Debbie and their son Mathew. Alice is also survived by her sister Janette and her many nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be held to celebrate her life Monday April 14, 2008 at 11:30 in the main Chapel at Holy Cross Catholic Cemeteries located at 5835 W. Slauson, Culver City.

Alice will always be remembered for her loving ways and Kind Heart. We will miss her..
