RESTAURANT ROUNDUP:
Landmark Steakhouse, which has been closed four days a week during an interior and exterior renovation, plans to reopen full time later this month.
Spokesman Rob Hallstrom said the owners hoped for a soft opening April 15 at the restaurant at 3520 E. Coast Hwy. in Corona del Mar.
The revamped restaurant will feature newly decorated dining rooms, a new lounge and outdoor patio and a revised food and wine menu.
“Landmark is a very special place nestled within an intimate beachside community,” owner Mario Marovic said in a release.
“Unlike the nearby larger chain establishments, Landmark offers its guests a quaint retreat with genuine and neighborly comfort and service.
“We work very hard at making everyone feel special and right at home, whether enjoying one of our signature plates or simply lounging at the bar. And we hope their new surroundings will make them feel all the more special.”
Landmark is open for dinner Thursdays through Saturdays during construction. Call (949) 675-5556 for more information.

Among the newly seasoned items on the menu are pan-roasted Colorado Lamb Coulotte with parsley jus, mint-infused couscous and fresh spring vegetables, and grilled swordfish with mango tomatillo relish. A number of salads and appetizers have also been garnished with seasonal offerings.
Five Crowns is at 3801 E. Coast Hwy. in Newport Beach. Call (949) 760-0331 for more information.
