Temple event to feature Israeli folk dancing, lessons
Israeli folk dancing will be the main attraction at Temple Isaiah’s first Singles Shabbat Friday.
Instructor Alissa Rose will spin records and give lessons in traditional dance. Light refreshments will be served.
The event will focus on Jewish singles, but couples are also encouraged to attend.
A short service will take place immediately before the dance in the sanctuary at 8 p.m. Both events are free to the public, but donations are accepted.
Temple Isaiah is at 2401 Irvine Ave., Newport Beach.
