COSTA MESA — Brian Waldron went three for four with three runs scored for the Mustangs in their Orange Coast League game Friday at Estancia.

Nick Pederson was two for five with two RBIs and Andrew Millian was two for four with two runs scored for Costa Mesa (14-9, 7-1 in league), which swept the season series over its crosstown rival.

Sam Trancoso had a double for the Eagles, who dropped to 7-16, 0-8.

Costa Mesa plays at Laguna Beach, and Estancia plays host to Calvary Chapel, both on Tuesday at 3:15 p.m.;

NEWPORT BEACH — Senior pitcher RJ D’Cruz picked up the victory in five innings of work and scored the game-winning run as the Sailors snapped a four-game losing streak in the Sunset League Friday.

D’Cruz (3-6) also tripled and hit a two-run double for Newport Harbor (7-11-1, 3-8 in league). He scored on a suicide squeeze play executed by Blake Davey with one out in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Erik Bonn doubled and Brennan threw two innings in relief to pick up his second save of the season.

COSTA MESA — Junior Kylie Wilson drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning for the Eagles in an Orange Coast League game Friday.

Haylee Whitney scored on Wilson’s grounder to first, capping a two-run rally for Estancia (13-6, 4-1 in league).

Abby Koff was three for four with two RBIs, two triples and a double for Estancia.

The Eagles play at Costa Mesa Friday at 3:15 p.m. The teams split the last two games.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY — Kyle Caldwell had 30 assists, nine kills, four digs and four blocks to help lead the Sailors to a 25-16, 25-20, 25-22 win that clinched a share of the Sunset League title Friday.

Mark Liebermann had 10 kills and Tucker Peleuses added seven kills and two blocks for Harbor (24-3, 8-0 in league), ranked No. 1 in CIF Southern Section Division I.

SANTA ANA — Kohl Jones had nine kills, three aces and 10 digs for Estancia against Calvary Chapel, which won the Orange Coast League match, 25-22, 29-27, 25-15, Friday.

Shane Lyons added eight kills and three digs, Barry Fryslie had 27 assists and one ace and Adriel Robles finished with nine digs for Estancia (2-6 in league).
