Middle schoolers can attend Fun Camp for $100 a week

The Fountain Valley School District will host a Teen Summer Fun Camp beginning in July for junior high students.

The camp is aimed at providing sixth through eighth graders a place to go while their parents are at work during the weeks, said camp organizer Jill Martin.

The camp is at Isojiro Oka School, 9800 Yorktown Ave., Huntington Beach, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays. The program runs from July 8 to August 7.

Tuesdays will be beach excursions and Wednesdays and Thursdays will have varied field trips including Olvera Street, an Angel’s game, Knott’s Berry Farm and the Orange County Fair.
