H.B. man dies in fall from church building

A Huntington Beach construction worker was killed Wednesday after he fell from the second story of a church building in Chino Hills, according to a San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department release.

Young Hak Song, 57, fell 19 to 20 feet from the second story of Crossroads Community Church onto the concrete floor about 9 a.m., according to the release.

Song was taken to Chino Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:01 a.m.

The incident is under investigation by the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department and the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health.
