Volleyball, tennis pairings to be released Monday
The CIF Southern Section office will release high school boys’ volleyball and boys’ tennis playoff pairings on its website, www.cifss.org, on Monday, as well as at the Southern Section office in Los Alamitos.
Tennis pairings are scheduled to be released at 11 a.m., with volleyball pairings to be released between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
The Newport Harbor High boys’ volleyball team, the Sunset League champion, is expected to be the top-seeded team in CIF Southern Section Division I.
The Sailors (27-3), winners of 16 straight, ended the regular season ranked No. 1 in CIF Division I.
Corona del Mar (23-7) and Sage Hill (19-10) will likely be seeded high in Division II and Division V, respectively.
