IRVINE — UC Irvine senior Dayne Comrie finished third in the 200 meters as the Anteaters turned in more strong performances Sunday at Anteater Stadium.

Comrie’s time of 21.36 seconds was just .01 off the NCAA regional-qualifying mark of 21.35.

Tim Murphy placed fourth in the 800 in 1 minute, 52.15 seconds and Napoleon Greene was fifth in the 400 hurdles (52.69).

Matt Lahti’s eighth-place showing of 153 feet, 1 inch in the discus throw was a career-best by nearly a foot.

For the UCI women’s team, Amber Sangster was fourth in the discus with a career-best 154-1.

Madeline Leduc finished 10th in the triple jump at 39-3 1/4 .

Samantha Costantini was fifth in the 1,500 in 4:32.42.
