Bill Wright Wills, 19, of Laguna Beach, was arrested May 2 at 10:22 p.m. on suspicion of DUI, driving without a license, having marijuana, and for several warrants after police pulled him over for swerving in lanes in the 1800 block of South Coast Highway, Kravetz said.

Wills’ passenger in the vehicle, Michelle Mondragon, 18, of Aliso Viejo, was cited for having less than an ounce of marijuana.

Wills was taken to Orange County jail and held on bail.

Valet suspected of stealing week’s worth of receipts

A parking valet at a restaurant in the 1700 block of South Coast Highway is believed to have taken more than $2,000 in parking receipts after failing to deposit the receipts in the bank, Kravetz said.

The employee was supposed to deposit one week’s worth of receipts for the valet company that runs the service.

The employee never made the deposit and has since disappeared, Kravetz said. The suspected theft was reported around noon May 2.

It has been a week since the employee reported for work.

Foul play is not suspected, because his family hasn’t reported him missing, Kravetz said.
