Marie Delaney Young

December 5, 1912 – May 11, 2008

Marie was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She moved to

Newport Beach in 1944, and then to Costa Mesa in 1957. She

worked at Orange Coast College in the Student Employment

Office for 15 years and retired at the age of 60. She enjoyed

her garden, reading, crocheting, traveling and especially

being with her family.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Huff; children, Kathy (Frank)

Seiersen, John (Alla) Huff, and Delane (Clay) Turner; daughter-in-law, Linda Young; 12 grand-children, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two nephews, James and Michael Huff. She was preceded in death by her son, Norman Young, and nephew, Thomas Huff.

Private family services have been held.
