RESTAURANT ROUNDUP:
Corona del Mar’s upscale Landmark Restaurant and Lounge was proud to unveil a series of new renovations this week, including a number of improvements to the outdoor sidewalk patio and menu.
“We just wanted a more sophisticated environment that catered to more sophisticated people,” owner Mario Marovic said.
“When you walk in, you’re going to feel a very rich, warm feeling.”
Some other improvements include new plush leather dining booths, dark woods and glowing chandeliers.

Have English garden wedding — at night
The Five Crowns is making a public push to encourage couples who may be thinking about marriage to consider a night-time wedding at the English-inn style restaurant.
The restaurant regularly conducts daytime ceremonies, but hopes the building’s English-inn style and “incredible food” will provide quaint nighttime memories for any ceremony.
“The English garden is beautifully lit at night,” General Manager Chris Szechenyi said.
“We’ve taken on a few nighttime weddings, and the ones we’ve done everyone has loved.”
