Area 1

Camden Place: A brush fire was put out in the rear of a home in the 300 block at 6:39 p.m. Tuesday.

Cliff Drive: A home was reported ransacked and a back door broken in the 500 block at 5:13 p.m. Friday.

Crystal Cove State Park: A bicyclist was reported down on the Deer Canyon fire road at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Irvine Cove: A Whittier man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at North Coast Highway at 1:59 a.m. Saturday.

North Coast Highway: A citation was issued for drug possession in the 600 block at 6:48 p.m. Thursday.

North Coast Highway: A Costa Mesa woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at Beverly Street at 2:54 a.m. Saturday.

North Coast Highway: A Texas man was arrested on suspicion of stealing a roast beef sandwich, Caesar salad, bacon bits, a bag of chips and a bottle of Bacardi Rum from an employee break room at a market in the 600 block at 5:58 p.m. Thursday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A resident accused a caregiver of stealing the title to a mobile home in the 1100 block at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A person sustained a minor arm injury in a traffic collision in the 2500 block at 3:07 p.m. Tuesday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A person had a bloody nose after a three-vehicle collision in the 1800 block at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday.

Laguna Canyon Road: Welding cables and a welding machine valued at $1,900 were reported stolen from a job site in the 1900 block at 12:59 p.m. Monday.

Beach Street: A man was arrested on suspicion of drug use after being found on the ground at Ocean Avenue at 1:36 a.m. Sunday.

Catalina Street: A catalytic converter worth $600 was reported stolen from the 500 block at 8:41 a.m. Wednesday.

Catalina Street: Two men were arrested on suspicion of DUI and one person cited on a drug charge at St. Ann’s Drive at 12:01 a.m. Saturday.

El Paseo: A Santa Ana man was arrested on suspicion of lewd conduct after reportedly having his pants down in the 300 block of the beach at 12:40 p.m. Saturday.

Glenneyre Street: A man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 600 block at 7:21 p.m. Thursday.

Glenneyre Street: A car was reported keyed in a parking lot in the 400 block at 8:50 a.m. Sunday.

Glenneyre Street: A Laguna Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at Forest Avenue at 2:37 a.m. Tuesday.

Hillview Drive: A party with 100 or more kids with beer was broken up by police in the 2100 block at 9:33 p.m. Friday.

Laguna Avenue: A Laguna Niguel woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at South Coast Highway at 9:50 p.m. Monday.

Park Place: An iPod was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 2800 block at 1:08 p.m. Thursday.

Park Avenue: Paramedics were called to help a student who apparently suffered a broken leg after falling down stairs at a school in the 600 block at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday.

South Coast Highway: A purse was reported stolen from a restaurant in the 600 block at 11:22 a.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: Plexiglass in a theater box office was reported vandalized in the 100 block at 4:47 p.m. Monday.

Third Street: An injured baby hummingbird was taken into custody in the 300 block at 12:31 p.m. Wednesday.

Bluebird Canyon Drive: An Aliso Viejo man was arrested after 10 kids were reported in the street with beer in the 700 block at 10:56 p.m. Friday.

Calliope Street: A Lake Forest man was issued a citation for drug possession after a traffic stop on South Coast Highway at 3:43 a.m. Sunday.

Dumond Drive: A sick seal was reported in the 100 block of the beach at 9:50 a.m. Thursday.

Dumond Drive: A dead sea lion was reported in the 100 block of the beach at 11:56 a.m. Friday.

South Coast Highway: A Covina woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop in the 1200 block at 1:30 a.m. Friday.

Coast Highway: A dead seal was reported with no head and teeth marks, possibly those of a shark, in the 31000 block of Totuava Beach at 2:33 p.m. Saturday.

Coast Highway: A Laguna Niguel man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after driving erratically at Montage Resort Drive at 1:28 a.m. Sunday.

Paseo del Sur: A $1,400 loss was reported through identity fraud in the 22000 block at 2:25 p.m. Monday.

Vista del Sol: A Fountain Valley man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Coast Highway at 1:09 a.m. Saturday.
