Newport-based vinyl company buys competitor

A Newport Beach-based vinyl fence installation and distribution company announced it had acquired a Santa Ana competitor Thursday, though the terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Best Vinyl Acquisition Corporation, headed up by Chief Executive Scott Petersen, purchased Saddleback Vinyl Products Inc. in a move he hopes will help drive the company’s growth strategy in Southern California.

“The founders of Saddleback Vinyl have done a terrific job in developing a leading market position in the vinyl fence business,” he said in a statement. “We are very excited that each of them have reinvested.”
