The other proposition includes too many issues, losing strength for the important issue of eminent domain.

Opposites can’t attract in some societies

I played the role of Romeo in high school. Romeo was a Montague, while Juliet was a Capulet.

Their union was a no-no according to the mores of their time.

People have obsessed over who loves who since the dawn of history. Some folks would rather see a double suicide than a couple who are happy and in love.

Misleading Muslims oppress Jews at UCI

I am deeply saddened by the activities of the Muslim Student Union’s activities at UCI (“Wall splits students,” May 15)

It does not matter that “95% of the campus just walks by.”

Hopefully, Jewish students will use restraint in their reaction, but they should point out the Palestinians’ real oppressors are fellow Muslims (Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iran, Syria, Egypt and so forth) who perpetuate lies and do not assist Palestinians in their poverty.

UCI’s reputation is marred by hate week

It appears to me that nothing good is coming from all of this (Wall splits students,” May 15).

UCI is becoming labeled as a campus that harbors hate-mongering, pro-terrorism sentiment and anti-Semitism.

Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Manual Gómez has either his head in the sand or a not-so-hidden agenda.

It’s time for someone there to wake up!
