Sailors win flip to earn lone home playoff date

The Newport Harbor High boys’ volleyball team won a coin flip and will play host to Santa Margarita Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the CIF Southern Section Division I semifinals.

In a CIF Division II semifinal for boys’ volleyball, Corona del Mar lost the coin flip and will play at Santa Barbara, also Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The Sage Hill baseball team lost its coin flip and will play at Apple Valley Christian Tuesday at 3:15 p.m. in the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division VI playoffs.
